For decades we have lived in the comfort of US protection and today we are unable to stand up independently to the thug from the East whose economy is tiny compared to ours and we have to worry about what the chaotic egomaniac in the White House will come up with next.

lmao this code works in "Expand macro recursively" (rust-analyzer) but not in rustc 😄

they implement the proc macro server differently, and thus their to_string implementation differs. hyrum's law strikes again!

I have an if else chain based on the string representation of a token stream.When expanded through Rust Analyzer, it is correctly picking up the lack of send and sync bounds in the trait definition.when expanded through cargo with cargo expand here it is not and it is actually doing send plus sync

내가 이해하는 우리나라 사법시스템에서 기소후 유무죄는 그다지 중요하지 않다. 재판과정에서 드는 금전적 시간적인 손해면 이미 충분한 형벌이 된다. 이 형벌의 기간도 항소여부로 검찰이 자의적으로 정할 수 있다. 실질적으로 검찰은 수사, 기소, 처벌의 권력을 가지고 있는 셈이다. 무의한 기소와 패소에 대한 책임을 기소검사가 지게하는 있는 제도를 만들어야 한다.

為什麼在學校學的電腦文書與影像處理軟體操作，總是推廣專有(閉源)軟體呢？ 為什麼打報告非得用Microsoft Office，修圖必Photoshop，剪影片得上Premire、建模要Maya、統計跑SPSS……？連看PDF都一定得下載Acrobat，解非.rar格式的檔案也要用WinRAR。此多種種，清一色都是專有軟體？通常專有軟體就是商業軟體。雖然有些是免費使用的軟體，不過並不自由也不開源，授權條款往往會限制使用範圍。

RFK Jr’s push to create a registry of all people with autism should be setting off alarm bells.

We’ve been here before.

I talk a lot about the Nazi’s Aktion T4 program, because many people forget that they tested the gas chambers on disabled people. We were targeted first because we were seen as expendable. “Useless eaters”. People no one would miss.

Did you know they also created a registry of children born who might have mental or physical disabilities? Midwives were paid to report them to the government, and lists were made.

Creating a registry of autistics won’t “solve autism”. But it could set the stage for something far more sinister.

We must remain vigilant and fight back.

Disabled people are not expendable. Autistic people are not dangerous. Health supremacy is.

On the Averaging Problem of Ideal Families Related to Frankl's Conjecture with Formal Proof by Lean 4

Frankl's conjecture, also known as the union-closed sets conjecture, can be equivalently expressed in terms of intersection-closed set families by considering the complements of sets. It posits that any family of sets closed under intersections, and containing both the ground set and the empty set, must have a ``rare vertex'' -- a vertex belonging to at most half of the members of the family. The concept of \emph{average rarity} describes a set family where the average degree of all the elements is at most half of the number of its members. Average rarity is a stronger property that implies the existence of a rare vertex. This paper focuses on ideal families, which are set families that are downward-closed (except the ground set) and include the ground set. We present a proof that the normalized degree sum of any ideal family is non-positive, which is equivalent to saying that every ideal family satisfies the average rarity condition. This proof is formalized and verified using the Lean 4 theorem prover.
