Welp, so apparently (at least the release of) currently only supports the (the LCD model in particular?), and not as a whole, due to their ACE anti-cheat.

The same thing also applies to
apparently which was also just released on Steam, 'cept for this one, it straight up does not work on Linux/Steam Deck at all (at least for now).

Being
cockblocked by anti-cheat for online, competitive like , , and the like - I don't care at all, but not being able to play popular, chill, free games like these simply bcos the developer/anti-cheat decides to not open up their game for Linux gamers... that sucks ass. Hope this gets addressed soon.

Developers: what do you always wish designers knew or did when you’re working together?

Is there anything that really frustrates you? Something one designer did that made your work easier?

I’m exploring some ideas for a talk, but as someone who does a bit of both design and frontend, I don’t have much insight into more separate roles…

I should have done this a long time ago, but I only had wool yarn on hand. This bamboo sock yarn is perfect for the purpose. And it doesn't matter if my dyed hair stains them pink!

I have half a mind to decorate the top of the headphones with the same yarn, but I don't know what motif... My embroidery skills are limited. Anyone have ideas?

A pair of grey noise cancelling headphones with very worn out foam pads. The foam is peeping out of the split and peeling faux leather. One side has been repaired by wrapping it in pink and red yarn. The other side is a third of the way done, a trail of yarn still attached to a needle. The ball of yarn is pictured next to the headphones.

Incoming!

A soviet spacecraft that was launched in 1972 is forecast for an uncontrolled re-entry likely on May 9th or 10th, 2025.

The Kosmos 482 descent craft is the lander module from a failed Soviet Venera mission to the planet Venus.

Its landing module, weighs in at 495 kg and is highly likely to reach the surface of Earth in one piece as it was designed to withstand 300 G’s of acceleration and 100 atmospheres of pressure.

sattrackcam.blogspot.com/2025/

This is an image of a museum replica of the Venera 8 descent craft that is in a decaying orbit around the Earth. The decent craft is basically a one meter diameter sphere that was designed to land on the planet Venus back in the early 1970's. The craft is painted white and has large red letters painted around its circumference denoting its country of origin 'CCCP' (Soviet Union). One face of the sphere contains a small silver dome that was used to connect the lander to its launch vehicle. Spread out on either side of the small silver dome are a pair of dark colored radio antennas that the craft would use to communicate with the team of engineers on Earth, I believe that these also acted as radiators to cool the craft in the high temperatures that it would encounter on the surface of Venus. The craft contained a suite of instruments to measure the atmosphere of Venus during its decent to the surface.
