The most beautiful burrito.
I’m heading back to Mountlake Terrace, and I decide to get dinner. Chipotle sounds reasonable, so I get a chicken burrito and a soft drink, figuring it would be good sources of protein for a post-orchi healing body.
I’m about to pay when a “mom” looking women tells the clerk “I’m paying for her meal”. I look over, and I have no idea who she is, but I say “Are you sure? Why thank you very much!” She smiles and wishes me a good evening.
So I get my Diet Coke, and sit down and the woman comes up and says “excuse me for a minute?” I figure she just paid my dinner, so I say thank you again and no problem.
She looks at me, and goes “I have a teenage daughter just like you.”.
Oh?
I notice the “Protect Trans Kids” pin on her jacket.
OH!!!
I smile and say “You must be very proud of her then”.
She smiles and says “you give me hope. I am so scared for her right now, but I can see her at your age right now, and that helps me.”
I start to cry a bit. Tell her that I’m in my late 50’s and have only been myself for a few years. How my mother is 90 and enjoying finally having a daughter.
I tell her “You will more than likely have your daughter longer than my mother will have hers. Cherish her. She’s a strong woman to become who and what she really is.”
She sniffs back tears of her own. Says thank you and she’s got to get her family’s food to them. And asks if she can give me a hug. Which is freely given.
I watch her leave, and sit down to my burrito. It is the most ineptly wrapped mess I’ve ever had and I give up trying to eat it properly and use a fork for the rest of it.
I’ve never had a burrito taste so wonderful before.
근데 참, 한덕수 같은게 정권을 가리지 않고 늘 승승장구해온 관료 커리어 끝판왕이었다는 거... 민주당 사람들도 고민 많이 해봐야 될 문제다. 민주당 정권이 들어와도, 요직에는 미래의 한덕수들이 꽂힐거고, 걔들이 결국 승진하고 출세해서 내란에도 참여하고, 민주주의에 똥물을 뿌릴 거다.

이제 국회 청문회나 공개되는 정보에서도 IMSI와 IMEI와 같은 약어가 나온다. 그러나 "유심 식별번호"나 "유심 인증키", "유심 비밀번호"가 구체적으로 뭔지는 아직도 언급되지 않고 있다. "유심 식별번호"에는 최소한 두 가지가 있고, "유심 인증키"라고 부를 수 있는 것만 최소한 5가지가 있으며, "유심 비밀번호"라고 부를 수 있는 것도 최소한 5가지가 있다. 그 중에서는 메모리 내에서도 가급적 암호화되어야 하는 것과, 디스크에서만 암호화할 수 밖에 없는 것도 섞여 있다. 대부분 여기에 사용되는 암호화 방식은 대칭 키 방식이기 때문에 평문 키에 접근해야 하며, 전가의 보도로 사용되는 "해시"도 사용할 수 없다.
구체적으로 무슨 정보가 유출되었는지가 알려지지 않는 이상, 쓸데없는 보안 관련 규제가 생길 가능성도 간과할 수 없다.
유심 식별번호:
- IMSI('임지'라고도 읽음): 이동통신망에서 가입자를 식별할 때 사용하는 번호. SIM에 기록되어 있다.
- ICCID: 신용카드의 카드번호와 동일한 규칙으로 부여되며, 물리적인 SIM 카드를 식별한다. 이동통신망 그 자체에서는 사용되지 않으며, 통신사 영업 전산에서 사용한다.
유심 인증키:
- K_i/OPc: 털리면 엿 되는 것.
- KIc/KID: 원격 접근에 사용하는 인증 키. KIc는 암호화, KID는 RC/CC/DS를 담당함.(GSMA FS.22 § 4 참조)
- KIK: 위 두 KIc, KID를 보호하기 위한 원격 프로비저닝 키.
유심 비밀번호:
- PIN1/PUK1: SIM 카드 탈취를 막기 위한 비밀번호. SIM에 최초 전원 인가 후 사용하기 전에 입력해야 함.
- PIN2/PUK2: SIM 카드의 특정 설정에 접근하기 위한 비밀번호. 통신사에 따라서 사용되지 않는 경우가 있음.
- ADM: SIM 카드의 파일을 조작하기 위한 비밀번호.

I set my guest Wi-Fi password to "Incorrect." So when people ask for it, I tell them, "It's 'Incorrect'." It's funny watching them get frustrated.

@skinnylatteAdrianna Tan 's thoughtful unpacking of her incomprehension of the food-as-fuel aspect of American culture (and the concept does have big problems), but several replies were just sneering at the "tech-bro" nature of trends like "human kibble" (and products like Soylent). I think it's worth remembering that many elements of "tech-bro" culture have tremendous overlap with neurodivergent culture and we should be careful about what we sneer at.

Wow, okay, that sucks. Stripe for some reason wants to make my prices VAT inclusive, which means from a €20 payment for support, I see €16.32 (since stripe takes €0.49)
This shit sucks.
Like, that's €16.32 revenue, I then have to pay 40-65% of that to income tax and health insurance. (tax rate is 20-45% of income, health insurance is like 20.65%)
So my take home from €20 in support is like €9.79 - €5.71
Like.. that's less than half of what someone sends to support me actually goes in my pocket for paying rent and bills.
