great news everyone, i've managed to combine the technologies behind "excel thinks it's a date" and "my phone keeps saying duck" to produce an office memo generator
it can also draw sentient anime breasts, as well as generating occasionally correct stack overflow replies
here's how: first we harvest every website, and use it to train a spam filter
we run the spam filter backwards on a massively parallel system to generate the desired output
then we try to filter out racism and csam. ish
here's what one developer said "look, i just don't know what's in the training set, and i don't ask questions" before adding "i really hate my job, and this turns the boring tasks into something novel. i get to pretend i'm solving a much more interesting problem too"
"it sucks, but on the plus side, they've poisoned the dataset, so the ddosing will slowly ramp down as curated sets become only realistic option for training, so maybe there's hope for provenance too"

The actual anniversary was last week, but it’s Pride in London today and I’m remembering last year, when I skipped Pride but stumbled on a small protest at the NHS England offices while I was out walking in the evening
