한반도 추위의 피크, 미국 동부 추위의 피크는 각각 1월 2일 가량이 될 것으로 예상됩니다. 그 뒤부터는 예상했던대로 다시 서서히 한기는 안정화되며 갈무리될 것으로 예상되는데요. 한반도에서는 한파가 사라지지만 북미의 경우는 블로킹이 이상하게 생기며 한기가 갇힌 채 으슬으슬한 날씨가 이어질 수도 있겠습니다. 다만 1월 말엽이 되면 이상기온은 거의 다 사라지고 평범한 날씨로 돌아올 것으로 예상됩니다. 그래도 앞으로 최소 며칠간은 건강 관리와 교통안전에 주의를 기울여 주실 것을 당부드립니다. 얼음도 많이 생기고, 바람도 차가워요.

연말인 31일부터는 본격적 추위가 시작되어 아침 최저기온 -12~0℃, 낮 최고기온 -5~4℃의 분포를 보이고, 새해 첫 날인 1월 1일에는 아침 최저기온 -15~-4℃, 낮 최고기온 -6~4℃로 더 추워지겠습니다. 그 덕분인지 공기는 매우 매우 깨끗해지겠는데요. 고기압 영향으로 인해 하늘 역시 맑아 대부분의 지역에서 해넘이와 해돋이를 볼 수 있을 것으로 예상됩니다. 보통 겨울 날씨 그러면 삼한사온을 이야기 하죠? 정말로 신기하게 사흘 정도 반짝 춥다가 1월 3일부터는 기온이 풀릴 것으로 보입니다. 근데 풀린다 해도 춥긴 해요.

오늘 한 차례 기온이 떨어지고, 내일과 모레는 한파특보가 예상됩니다. 중국 북부 지방에서 이동하는 고기압의 영향으로 인해 대기 중 미세먼지는 대체로 걷히고 북극 한기가 그 바람의 길을 타고 그대로 직격, 한반도엔 맹추위가 찾아옵니다. 오늘 아침 최저기온은 -8~3℃, 낮 최고기온은 0~9℃로 평년과 비슷한 수준이겠는데요. 아침기온이 하루 사이 5~10℃ 가량 떨어지면서 체감 추위는 더욱 강하게 느껴집니다. 주요 도시별로는 서울 -3~2℃, 대전 -3~4℃, 대구 -1~7℃, 광주 0~7℃, 부산 3~9℃, 제주 6~10℃입니다.

The mention of mls-tester has an [at] to avoid triggering my automatic webfinger resolution.

I've adopted the mediaType and encoding attributes from the draft ActivityPub specification. And I've standardized the Welcome message to incorporate those.

The Create includes the Welcome and a VaultItem as instruments rather than being sent as separate activities. The Welcome can include any number of recipients, so one within the activity should be sufficient.

The VaultItem is specific to the #Enigmatick client and isn't intended to be federated. That's how I'm handling ongoing access to the decrypted data; the VaultItem is a symmetrically encrypted representation of the original content that can be safely stored on the server for repeated use by the client. I'll need to eventually update the @context with that extension.

How incredibly inefficient it is.

One of the challenges I have is trying to figure out how not to run up server bills, because, Hoo-Boy, is that easy to do. That means carefully crafting code and resources in less intuitive ways to reduce overall load and optimize for costs. You know, maintain profitability by not sending my companies money to fund rocket joy-rides and DDR5 hordes.

Vibe code focuses on getting something to just work. Not work well. Not work efficiently, just work. You know. like a Sophomore College student trying to get their lab assignment completed.

Sure, if your company has more money that 90% of the countries on the planet, then sure, burn away, claim it as a tax loss or whatever. But for companies that actually have budgets, sending most of your EBITDA to AWS or GCP is probably not a great long term strategy.

Considers that the companies pushing hard for wide AI adoption are all big companies with their own AI server farms 🤔
