MsoTrioState is "a tri-state Boolean value". it has five possible values. only two of them are supported.
the only supported values are true and false.

Two crypto thieves decided to settle an argument over who was wealthier by screensharing as they transferred crypto between wallets to prove ownership. In doing so, one of them — known online as "Lick" — revealed a wallet address that crypto sleuth zachxbt quickly tied to the theft of around $90 million from US government wallets containing seized crypto assets, including a $20 million theft zachxbt reported in October 2024.zachxbt has alleged that "Lick" is a man named John Daghita. After reporting Daghita's identity, "Lick" appeared to try to scrub his Telegram account, then dusted zachxbt's public crypto wallet from one of the theft addresses.Daghitia is reportedly the son of Dean Daghita, the owner of Command Services & Support (CMDSS). In October 2024, CMDSS landed a contract with the US Marshals to manage seized crypto assets, which is still active. After zachxbt linked the younger Daghita to his father and CMDSS, CMDSS also scrubbed its online presence. Around that time, Lick began trolling zachxbt again, and later sent 0.6767 ETH (~$1,900) of the stolen funds to zachxbt.CMDSS' website boasts that they are "a proven provider of mission-critical services to the Department of Defense and Department of Justice".

현재 관측되는 중층 성층권의 온도가 평년보다 50℃ 이상 높은 현상은 매우 심각합니다. 우리가 알던 대기 순환이 붕괴된다는 뜻입니다. 예측 불가능한 날씨가 와요. 현재까진 입춘의 반짝 따스함 뒤에 다시 긴 한파가 올 것이라는 전망이 우세한데요.

눈 폭풍이 덮쳤다…온난화가 부른 북극발 ‘냉동고 추위’...
연구에 따르면 제트기류가 북쪽으로 요동을 치면 북서유럽에 열파와 가뭄이 일어났고 남유럽에서는 폭우와 홍수가 일어났다고 합니다. 반대로 남쪽으로 요동을 치면 남부 유럽에 산불과 가뭄이 늘고 북유럽에 홍수가 늘었죠. 당연합니다. 북극 해빙이 녹아서 알베도가 하강, 기온이 오르면서 기압이 일정하지 못한 채 북극진동 값이 흔들리면 제트기류를 일정하게 밀던 힘이 흔들리게 되어 기류가 어디는 강해지고 어디는 약해지는 사행(蛇行)현상이 발생하는거죠. 사행 파동 어디에 위치하는가에 따라 날씨가 극단적으로 달라지게됩니다. 인간의 죄업이에요.
문제는 이게 예측 불가능하다는 것입니다. 2009년, 2013년 발생한 SSW는 북미와 유라시아에 한파를 몰고왔지만 다른 지역은 극도로 평온했습니다. 2018년 유럽의 한파 역시 유럽에만 집중적으로 큰 타격을 가했습니다. 트럼프는 이상기후가 어딨냐고 하지만, 이는 인간의 원인이 맞습니다. 지난 2018년 발레리 트루엣 미국 애리조나대 환경연구소 교수팀은 나무에 남은 기후 기록을 이용해 지난 3세기 동안 유럽 상공의 제트기류 동향을 복원했는데요. 제트기류가 1960년대를 기점으로 갑자기 크게 흔들리기 시작했다는 것을 알아냈습니다.
이 추위가 지난 뒤는 어떻게 될까요? 입춘까지는 잠시 풀리다가 본격적인 2월 날씨는 점차 혼란의 시기로 접어들 것으로 보입니다.
2월 초 극 소용돌이 붕괴는 거의 확정되었습니다. 이례적일 정도로 심각한 SSW가 발생할 것으로 예상하고 있는데요. 북극 상공에 거대한 열원이 모이며 성층권 기온이 4~50℃ 이상 급격하게 상승할 것을 예상하고 있습니다.
이렇게 급격하게 성층권이 뜨거워지면 북극 소용돌이를 모아주던 에너지가 붕괴, 제트기류를 밀어내며 한기를 남쪽으로 쏘아냅니다. 북미, 유럽, 아시아 일대에 이상 한파가 예상됩니다.

하지만 바람이 불어오는 지역을 중심으로 체감온도는 더욱 떨어지겠습니다. 적어도 오는 토요일까지는 상당히 춥습니다. 건강에 각별히 신경써주세요. 오늘 아침 최저기온은 -16~-3℃, 낮 최고기온은 -4~7℃입니다. 주요 도시별로는 서울 -10~-2℃, 대전 -9~1℃, 대구 -7~3℃, 광주 -5~3℃, 부산 -3~6℃, 제주 2~5℃입니다. 전국적으로 고기압 영향권에 들면서 비나 눈은 내리지 않겠고, 최소 사흘 가량은 바람이 강하고 복사냉각이 활발해 아침 기온이 낮습니다. 또한 푄현상으로 건조특보도 발령, 산불 주의가 요망됩니다.
극소수의 부유층만을 제외한 대다수의 사람들은 제대로 추위나 더위에 대비조차 할 수 없게 될 것입니다. 그래서 지금 시대의 불확실성이 두렵습니다. 인류가 만들어온 공공선이 무너지는것이 무섭고, 세계인이 아닌 자국인 중심의 극우적 배타주의가 퍼지는 것이 너무나 크게 우려됩니다. 날리는 눈 하나, 흘러가는 기사 한 줄에도 이렇게 걱정이 앞서는 수요일 아침 조금 더 추워진 2차 한파를 시작하며 오늘 날씨 시작하겠습니다. 한파는 점점 거세지고 있습니다. 다만 그럼에도 불구하고 동해안과 남해안 지역을 제외하면 풍속이 약해져 버틸만은 해요.
바로 그 기술의 배경에는 점점 예산을 줄이고, 공개 범위를 줄여나가는 공공 정보가 백그라운드 데이터로 작용한다는 것입니다. GFS와 ECMWF 측정 자료들이 Earth-2 모델의 기반이 되고 있습니다.
ECMWF야 아직까지 공공적 성격을 가지고 있지만 트럼프 시대의 표준처럼 GFS가 점점 닫혀가면 어떻게 될까요? 엔비디아나 구글같은 빅테크가 간단한 날씨 정보는 공개해도, 더 심도 있는 정보나 해석이 필요한 정보를 수익모델화 하면 어떻게 될까요? 이런 기업의 논리에 밀려 ECMWF같은 세금이 드는 공공사업이 축소되면 어떻게 될까요?

사실 이런 예상은 저만 한 것이 아닙니다. 누구나 날씨 데이터를 볼 수 있습니다. 오픈 소스 정보이기 때문입니다. 다만 그 데이터를 가지고 해석하는 것의 문제죠. 더 많은 데이터가 공개되고, 더 많은 사람들이 해석하면서 문제를 공유하고 대비할 수 있게 해야 합니다.
그런데 어제 들려온 이 소식이 조금 무섭게 느껴졌습니다. 엔비디아가 공개한 기후 예측 디지털 트윈 지구, Earth-2인데요. 겉보기엔 매우 좋은 기술로 보입니다. 심지어 일부 앙상블 모델보다도 우세한 적중률을 보였다고도 했습니다. 허나 중요한 것은 따로 있습니다.

I love #activitypub but seeing how slow its development is compared to #atproto makes it hard to be excited about it. This goes for both protocol development and ecosystem development.
ATproto has many cool projects popping up every month, the vision is clear and platforms integrate with each other.
I don't see this excitement and work on the ActivityPub side :(

In our ecosystem, we've normalized that you have to build the whole server side, with data storage and network interoperability and so on, for every single new kind of app.
It'd be great if you could use a standard API to make cool apps, and leave all the plumbing to a general-purpose server.
That's what we're doing in the ActivityPub API task force at w3c.
I love #activitypub but seeing how slow its development is compared to #atproto makes it hard to be excited about it. This goes for both protocol development and ecosystem development.
ATproto has many cool projects popping up every month, the vision is clear and platforms integrate with each other.
