What is Hackers' Pub?

Hackers' Pub is a place for software engineers to share their knowledge and experience with each other. It's also an ActivityPub-enabled social network, so you can follow your favorite hackers in the fediverse and get their latest posts in your feed.

There's one maintainer for sudo, I guess I really shouldn't be surprised. Much of open source infrastructure was funded by people being able to maintain stable jobs and have some spare time, something we can't take for granted in the future.

Also thinking more and more projects are growing scale and complexity. I wonder what the solution is.

We're still processing all the great discussions had at the P2P Basel workshop this year! Deep technical experience and insights were shared around the table, with folks from Uni Basel, iroh, SSB/tinySSB, Braid, Willow, Cabal, Qaul, Pijul and p2panda in attendance.

There was a lot of discussion about how we might share some of those conversations with wider circles, possibly through a podcast? Any interest?
