I have no words to thank everyone for helping yesterday.

Great news: Yesterday on the omg.lol IRC server, folks investigated and discovered the GitHub account was part of a network of bots. These bots republish open source projects, modifying their READMEs with malicious links, and distribute Windows malware through fake builds.

After documenting the findings, we reported everything to GitHub. Within hours, they took down the repositories and an account for violating their Terms and Code of Conduct.

Thank you for investigating, reporting, and sending coffee. You're all amazing!

동방은 요즘애들은 거의 안파고 2010년대에 10대 20대였던 사람이나 파고
페이트는 보이는 짤이나 화력은 줄었는데 여전히 콘크리트층이 건재하며 약간 에반게리온 느낌 된거같고
보카로는 20년 넘게 저점인 시절이 하치가 트롤한 이후밖에 없었음

If anyone's curious to give it a go, I got it to the point where it will use PDM to populate a development environment that includes cibuildwheel, use that to start building wheels, download and install rustup, and the works.

The critical part where it seems to fail is in getting VS build tools or the Windows SDK up and running... everything fails at the link.exe stage.

This is something that probably sounds obvious to some folks and unhinged to others, but I think it’s worth saying anyway: “workers who don’t adopt AI will get left behind” is right-wing propaganda. It’s more than just a surface-level advertising message. It makes the unstated assumption that workers are all in a state of conflict, racing against one another in competition for acceptable employment. This is the literal opposite of class consciousness! All workers should be aiming for a world where we don’t have to fight each other to earn a chance at a decent life.

OK, even though I told the Windows SDK installer to run without a GUI, it still fails without an X server present. Trying with xvfb didn't seem to work, either.
