Et voilà, de nouveau des vacances avec les enfants de 3 et 5 ans, de nouveau quelques heures de train à occuper. Et les enfants redemandent du déjà commencé aux dernières vacances, mais qu’ils n’ont pas oublié « tu sais papa, l’histoire avec les vélos là ». C’est le premier livre sans image que je leur lis, et je suis ravi qu’il s’agisse d’un livre qui bouscule les modèles établis. Merci

Global Pol: I am uncomfortable

Many countries have nuclear weapons and all of them make me uncomfortable. Russia, North Korea, the US...

Is "this country might get a powerful bomb, possibly maybe later, we swear to God it's real this time" a good reason to attack them? Is anyone buying this at all?

I think attacking a country gives them *more* reasons to make bigger bombs and ... attack back?

Am I too naive to understand international politics?

개발자로서 느끼는 Nix의 최대장점은 패키지가 가능한한 최대로 configurable하다는 것이다. 가령 nixpkgs와 homebrew에 똑같이 10만개의 패키지가 있다고 하자. 하지만 nixpkgs에는 실제로 그보다 훨씬 많은 수의 패키지가 있는 셈이다. 저 10만개 외에도, 쉽게 설정을 바꿔서 안전하게 새로 빌드할수 있는 잠재적인 패키지들이 무수히 많기 때문이다.

J'ai découvert les excellents articles de @ploum , pi bin, son dernier livre parle entre autres de vélo... et moi, j'aime bien l'vélo...

Me suis pas trompé, c'est bel et bien dans la lignée et la qualité de ces articles. Me suis laissé emporter (même si le 3ème chapitre est sacrément cru...) et j'ai beaucoup apprécié. BRAVO.

Il est dispo chez moi (Suisse). Si quelqu'un souhaite le lire, l'envoi est offert.

민주주의는 이념이기도 하지만 동시에 제도이자 도구이다. 시민의 대의로 이루어진 결정은 때에 따라 합법적으로 타인을 착취할 수 있는 훌륭한 근거가 된다. 단순하게 민주주의를 수호하는 것이 아니라 무엇을 위해 민주주의를 수호해야 할 것인가를 생각해야 한다. 그리고 그것은 언제나 평화여야 한다. 절대적 평화. 이상적이라서 닿을 수 없다고 하더라도 그것을 우리의 머리 위에 띄워둬야 한다. 태양이 모두를 바라보듯. 우리가 평화가 아닌 것을 선택할 수 없도록.
