Der Sandfuchsfrosch (Vulpirana arenosa) ist ein äußerst seltenes, vom Aussterben bedrohtes Fabelwesen, das die Merkmale eines Fuchses und eines Frosches kombiniert. Aufgrund seiner außergewöhnlichen Anpassungen an wüstenartige Gebiete ist er schwer zu entdecken und kaum erforscht.

Beschreibung:

Der Sandfuchsfrosch besitzt den schlanken, eleganten Körper eines Wüstenfuchses mit einer feinen, sandfarbenen Fellstruktur, die ihn perfekt an seine Umgebung anpasst. Seine Vorderpfoten haben sich jedoch zu froschartigen Gliedmaßen entwickelt, die ihm sowohl beim Springen als auch beim Graben helfen. Das Gesicht hat die typische flache Form eines Frosches mit einer kurzen Schnauze, großen, seitlich angeordneten Augen und einer flexiblen, leicht klebrigen Zunge, die zur Jagd eingesetzt wird. Seine Hinterbeine sind kräftig und ermöglichen hohe Sprünge über Sanddünen hinweg.

Seine großen, leuchtend grünen Augen besitzen eine reflektierende Schicht, die ihm perfekte Nachtsicht verleiht, da er dämmerungs- und nachtaktiv ist.

Lebensraum und Verhalten:

Der Sandfuchsfrosch lebt in trockenen, sandigen Gebieten, in denen er sich tagsüber eingräbt, um der Hitze zu entkommen. Er ist dämmerungsaktiv und ernährt sich von Insekten, kleinen Nagetieren und gelegentlich Pflanzen. Seine Hauptstrategie zur Fortbewegung besteht aus einer Kombination aus hüpfenden Sprüngen und schnellen, lautlosen Sprints.

Wissenschaftler vermuten, dass der Sandfuchsfrosch eine ausgeprägte Autismus-Spektrum-Störung sowie ADHS-Merkmale aufweist. Seine Fixierung auf sich wiederholende Verhaltensweisen, wie das stundenlange rhythmische Graben von Sandhöhlen und das zwanghafte Jagen nach Beutetieren, könnte auf eine neurodivergente Wahrnehmung hinweisen.

Forscher haben zudem beobachtet, dass er oft starke Reizempfindlichkeit zeigt – plötzliche Geräusche oder Lichtveränderungen können ihn entweder in völlige Starre versetzen oder zu einem hektischen, planlosen Fluchtverhalten führen. Darüber hinaus neigt der Sandfuchsfrosch zu extremer Impulsivität: Er wechselt abrupt von einer Tätigkeit zur nächsten, jagt einem vorbeifliegenden Blatt mit größter Entschlossenheit nach, nur um es Sekunden später zu ignorieren und frenetisch im Kreis zu springen.

Besonders auffällig ist seine Hyperaktivität in Kombination mit starker Ablenkbarkeit. Während einer Jagd kann es vorkommen, dass der Sandfuchsfrosch plötzlich vergisst, was er tut, und sich mit einem anderen Reiz beschäftigt, etwa einem Geräusch oder einer plötzlichen Bewegung. Gleichzeitig besitzt er eine extreme Fähigkeit zum Hyperfokus – in seltenen Momenten kann er stundenlang eine einzige Beute anvisieren, ohne sich zu rühren.

Ein weiteres Indiz für seine Neurodivergenz ist sein ungewöhnliches Sozialverhalten. Während einige Individuen Einzelgänger sind, suchen andere immer wieder den Kontakt zu Artgenossen, zeigen dabei aber oft ungeschickte oder unangemessene Verhaltensweisen, wie das plötzliche Anstupsen anderer ohne ersichtlichen Grund oder das übermäßige Nachahmen ihrer Bewegungen.

Fortpflanzung und Jungtiere:

Die Fortpflanzung des Sandfuchsfroschs ist eines der seltensten biologischen Ereignisse. Die Paarung findet nur unter bestimmten Umweltbedingungen statt, darunter eine hohe Luftfeuchtigkeit, gemäßigte Temperaturen und eine bestimmte Mondphase. Diese strengen Bedingungen könnten erklären, warum es nur wenige dokumentierte Beobachtungen gibt.

Monogame Bindungen und Paarungsverhalten:

Der Sandfuchsfrosch ist eine der wenigen Arten, die eine lebenslange monogame Bindung eingehen. Einmal gefunden, bleibt ein Paar ein Leben lang zusammen. Sie schlafen in denselben Höhlen, teilen Nahrung und verteidigen ihr gemeinsames Revier.

Die Paarung beginnt mit einem langen Balzritual. Das Männchen lockt das Weibchen mit melodischen Froschrufen und fuchsähnlichen Lauten. Wenn das Weibchen das Männchen akzeptiert, vollführen beide eine Art "Tanz", bei dem sie sich hüpfend umkreisen und mit den Nasen berühren. Dieses Verhalten stärkt ihre Bindung.

Tragzeit und Geburt:

Nach der Paarung bleibt das Männchen an der Seite des trächtigen Weibchens und beschützt es während der gesamten Tragzeit von vier bis sechs Monaten. Während dieser Zeit versorgt das Männchen das Weibchen mit Nahrung und verteidigt das gemeinsame Territorium.

Kurz vor der Geburt zieht sich das Weibchen in eine Sandhöhle zurück, während das Männchen in der Nähe bleibt und Wache hält. Anders als Amphibien legt der Sandfuchsfrosch keine Eier, sondern bringt ein bis zwei lebende Jungtiere zur Welt.

Entwicklung der Jungtiere:

Das beigefügte Bild zeigt ein neugeborenes Jungtier des Sandfuchsfroschs. Es besitzt bereits weiches Fell und froschartige Gliedmaßen. Die leuchtend grünen Augen sind besonders lichtempfindlich, weshalb Jungtiere in den ersten Wochen fast ausschließlich nachtaktiv sind.

When noting biases toward the cultural differences behind the sorts of female or male connectors, one should presume equality behind the diverse groups and instead start fostering inclusivity for the various genders of connectors. Historically, the inequalities were often due to the polarization decisions made in their design, some of which were granted privilege due to socioeconomic influences brought about by systemic decisions early in the design phase. The perceived barriers excluded many minority connector types and even some political actions to enforce standards lead to an under representation of connector types. Historically, this lead newer, more efficient connectors to have the status of victims of prejudice by established institutional boards.

Oppression and fear of freedom

In our insane civilisation the use of shenanigans and scams, double standards, opportunism and other forms of trickery and deceit quickly change from being sus pect to being valued in order to survive. We even go as far as to adjust our ethics and personality according to the situation. With all such practices, we lose our true colours. Who is still publicly sincere and authentic?

On a personal level, we see many people adopt the same morals and manners as those who actually exploit and oppress them, even if they initially resisted the situation. This is extremely advantageous for the arrogant bosses at the top of the pyramid. They can’t manage without a compliant middle management that directs the lower-ranking workers for them. Eventually, the workers themselves are also indoctrinated and assimilated into that culture to such an extent that they adopt the same mentality and behaviour. It’s the well known combination of sucking up to the boss, while simultaneously treating your subordinates with disdain (or ‘brown-nosing’ and ‘shit flows downhill’, as the Americans say). On a higher, meta-level as the priests of technology determine our lives and take away our freedoms, we simultaneously become dependent and afraid of freedom, autonomy and responsibility.

Thus freedom is not offered as a gift. It must be constantly pursued and reclaimed. But for that, we must first learn to see and learn to realise that the oppressors cannot exist without the consent of the oppressed [40]. The fear of freedom itself will have to be conquered. To break free from the arrogance that is destroying this world, it is imperative that we pursue that freedom. Humility and respect should be the basis of our relationship with each other and with the living world, where mankind doesn’t oppress the natural world.

Pedagogy of the Oppressed (Portuguese: Pedagogia do Oprimido) is a book by Brazilian educator Paulo Freire, written in Portuguese between 1967 and 1968, but published first in Spanish in 1968. An English translation was published in 1970, with the Portuguese original being published in 1972 in Portugal, and then again in Brazil in 1974. The book is considered one of the foundational texts of critical pedagogy, and proposes a pedagogy with a new relationship between teacher, student, and society.

Dedicated to the oppressed and based on his own experience helping Brazilian adults to read and write, Freire includes a detailed Marxist class analysis in his exploration of the relationship between the colonizer and the colonized. In the book, Freire calls traditional pedagogy the "banking model of education" because it treats the student as an empty vessel to be filled with knowledge, like a piggy bank. He argues that pedagogy should instead treat the learner as a co-creator of knowledge.[1]

As of 2000, the book had sold over 750,000 copies worldwide.[1]: 9  It is the third most cited book in social science.[2]

Dear lawyers and politicians, all sane people, Europe has proper regulatory measures around technology and needs MORE regulation, not less.

This whole fuss around AI... Some technologies will remain, some will go away. But by no means listen to insults by bigots financially motivated by US billionaires. Europe has the best regulation and must continue to do so!

Innovation does not require trashing human rights, stealing copyrighted content or invading people's privacy. When it claims it does, that is not innovation but a lie, force-fed by villains who erode democracy, while you keep assessing what kind of salute did a certain inauguration guest do.

I understand how technologies work. And I say - regulate AI.
