Habe Post vom Petitionsausschuss des Bundestages bekommen.

Zur Erinnerung: 2024 hieß es noch für ein #AfDverbot gäbe es "keinen parlamentarischen. Handlungsbedarf", und verwarf mit dieser Begründung alle Petitionen für ein Verbot der Nazipartei.

In 2025 sind wir einen Schritt weiter:
Im (auszugsweise zitierten) Schreiben erklärt sich der Petitionsausschuss für "verfassungsrechtlich nicht befugt" eine Abstimmung zu einem Prüfverfahren im Plenum auf die Tagesordnung zu bringen.

Ich möge mich doch bitte direkt an die Fraktionen wenden. 🤡🤷

[Das ist im Ergebnis zwar das Gleiche, aber stilistisch riecht man schon sehr wo die Reise mit 150 Faschist*innen und noch mehr Steigbügelhaltern im Parlament jetzt hingeht.]

Bluesky posts all flow through Bluesky's own corporate relay which is impossible to bypass, making censorship easy.

AI isn’t always the cheaper option.

In my interview with lexicographer and Wordnik founder Erin McKean (@emckeanErin McKean), we talked about what AI means for dictionaries, and she pointed out that “Lexicographers are way cheaper than AI engineers. By an order of magnitude.”

Sure, LLMs can sometimes speed things up. But tuning, deploying, and maintaining those models isn’t always more efficient than hiring humans.

Temperatures will warm into the lower 30s from south to north through this morning, limiting the potential for blowing snow. However, snow rates will increase during this time. Temperatures will eventually climb into the mid 30s by noon around Kuskokwim Bay and by this afternoon for the far northwest Kuskokwim Delta coast. Any lingering snow will likely mix with then change to all rain along the entire coast by this afternoon. Snow could linger longer across Nunivak Island due to cold air hanging on longer.
