금세기 들어 2008이나 그리스 위기, 코로나 사태 같은 걸 보면, 경제가 어려우니 감세를 해 준다고 할 때는 소수 부자가 감세를 받고, 경제가 어려우니 긴축을 한다고 할 때는 모두가 누리는 사회 시스템이 약화된다. 근데 이게 보통 동시에 일어나고, 당연히 부가 거꾸로 흘러 집중된다.

사람들이 뭔가 항의를 하면, 그 항의에 타협이나 대화라도 하면 "지는" 걸로 생각하고, 주어진 권력과 자원을 총동원해 일단 전부 가로막고 다 흩어버리는 게 유일한 해법이라고 믿는 자들이 권력 곳곳에 도사리고 있다.

In Godot's AudioBus system, you can add effects, and when you get an effect, you get a window with properties you can edit.
I went to see what Logic Pro did for something similar, and I was in awe, every effect has a custom and glorious UI.
I don't think I am going to get around to this before the 1.0 release, but I now have a new goal.
This is the pitch shifter in Godot and Logic Pro.

내 생각에 닐 게이먼을 지배하는 감정은 억울함이다. 억울함은 결백해야만 느끼는 게 아니고, 죄인으로 지목되기만 하면 반사적으로 느껴지는 반응이다. 결백하지 않더라도 스스로를 정당화하거나 죄를 완화할 구체적 핑계는 얼마든지 생각해 낼 수 있다. 이 경우는 "폭로하지 않기로 약속했는데 어겼으니 나는 억울하다"이다.
이런 경우 자기 억울함의 근거를 밝혀봤자 그로써 결백을 증명할 수 없다. 왜냐면 안 결백하니까! 그러므로 게이먼이 그 억울함에 기반하여 할 수 있는 것은 피해자를 공격하는 것뿐이다. 그게 자충수라는 생각은 절대 못한다.
