What is Hackers' Pub?

Hackers' Pub is a place for software engineers to share their knowledge and experience with each other. It's also an ActivityPub-enabled social network, so you can follow your favorite hackers in the fediverse and get their latest posts in your feed.

OMG. bypasses so you don’t have to!

“CoPilot gets privileged access to SharePoint so it can index documents, but unlike the regular search feature, it doesn’t know about or respect any of the access controls you might have set up. You can get CoPilot to just dump out the contents of sensitive documents that it can see, with the bonus feature* that your access won’t show up in audit logs.”

The S in CoPilot stands for Security!

CLE剛剛退出歷史舞台,變成各專案的i18n維護者;
Debian Taiwan
後者高手大大有點多;
SUSE Taiwan基本上是站長一人在撐,但在SUSE中文化變好以及中文資源變多的時候,盡責的站長就突然完全消失了;
酷學園當時重心已轉向更冷門的BSD;
鳥哥論壇感覺還是他的讀者比較多,話題多半圍繞他的書;

Good morning Fedi friends!

Today I'm feeling excitement over the fediverse intro video we're making... and fear about the feedback it will generate. SO. MUCH. PRESSURE!

The has become my happy online place. With this video project I'm putting myself out there so much (with my face, my voice) advocating for it. I'm stepping out of my comfort zone daily... but I know it's for a great cause.

Please be kind once the video is out... it'll be the result of tens of hours of work 🥲

Something for folks who have to deal with SAML, particularly when operating as a service provider:

I and my colleagues have just released a gem that provides a micro IdP for use within feature specs, so you can have a full SSO flow tested. As a bonus, you can also use it in your development environment to avoid needing an external service for manual testing. The gem is called ssolo. ☺️

https://www.itmedia.co.jp/news/articles/2505/15/news143.html

The chief prosecutor of the International Criminal Court has lost access to his (Microsoft) email and bank accounts. Prosecutions are faltering now. This all due to US sanctions. 'Microsoft did not respond to a request for comments'. Yet European governments are collectively moving their email and files to Microsoft, risking similar problems if they ever upset the US administration. apnews.com/article/icc-trump-s

I was just checking something over the Google Maps for the city I live in - Lodz @ Poland - and got really disappointed by the Google maps quality. Its not some unimportant part of the Lodz city - its literally center of it - the "Freedom Square" ... and while it has been revitalized a YEAR AGO - it remains in the old form in Google Maps.

OpenStreetMap on the contrary has everything updated and covered - not to even mention a lot better details - not only on the "Freedom Square" but everywhere ... and you can even use OsmAnd - osmand.net/ - for offline GPS and navigation just like with Google Maps.

I also added Apple Maps to comparison ... but they focus on the Browser Agent instead of important things.

I also added real photo of the drone footage of the "Freedom Square" at Lodz for comparison.

Not sure about your part of the World - but in Poland the OpenStreetMap does a lot better job then multi billion dollar Google and Apple companies.

Your thoughts?
