I'm a Google Workspace admin, and a team member sent me a screenshot showing that a message they wanted to send was being blocked because it violated an organizational policy-- which was news to me-- I hadn't put in place to block messages based on their content.
Turns out Google Workspace now warns by default when the message content mentions gender identity.

Over November 2025, I've been able to contribute to 
@gnome, and it was a pleasure!
I focused on GNOME Clocks, with the goal of making it as good as possible for GNOME 50. I focused on #accessibility, #linuxmobile and all sorts of bug fixes and features, as well as issue and MR triaging.
I also fixed some tiny issues in #GTK and #libadwaita, and helped make gettext-pseudolocale as good as possible.
I hope to find more free time to make GNOME Clocks 50 dependable as a mobile clocks app.

당장 글로벌 마켓에서 유행에 매우 민감하고 소비 주기가 빠르고 품질에 민감한 한국 시장을 신제품 테스트베드로 쓰는게 아닙니다. 특히 게임에서 그랬죠. 물론 정부는 당연히 자국 기업과 소비자를 보호할 의무가 있지만, 글로벌 경쟁 환경에서 쿠팡만을 과도하게 보호하는게 옳은걸까요? 기울어진 운동장을 해소하기 위한 규제는 필요하지만, 이는 쿠팡과 C-커머스 모두에게 공정하게 적용되어야 합니다. 무엇보다 기업에 앞서 국민도 보호해야 해요. 사람이 노동하다 쓰러지는데, 그 사람은 비국민이라 보호할 필요가 없나요? 역시 황국신민답네요.
(물론 트럼프가 이 약한 질서를 조져놓곤 있지만 사실상 타코짓을 하면서 입만 살았죠) 거기다 c-커머스 자체도 주춤하고 있어요. 소위 오픈빨이 다한겁니다. 소비자들은 그리 멍청하지 않아요. 알테쉰의 초기 고성장은 중국 내 지원금을 받고 초저가라는 특수한 매력, 공격적인 마케팅에 기인합니다. 하지만 배송 기간, 품질 문제, 환불/CS의 어려움 등 고질적인 직구 단점이 누적되면서 소비자들의 피로도가 증가할 수밖에 없어요. 단순히 싸게 퍼나르는걸로 한국 내수가 점령된다니, 얼마나 한국 소비자를 만만히 보는거에요?
거기다 단일 이커머스 채널 상황이 이어지는 상황은 소상공인에게 나쁩니다. 쿠팡은 막대한 시장 점유율을 바탕으로 판매자에게 높은 수수료 및 광고 비용을 부과하거나, 곰곰같은 PB 상품을 우대하는 등의 플랫폼 독점력 남용을 저질렀죠. 오히려 이커머스에선 경쟁이 필요합니다. 그게 소위 말하는 글로벌라이제이션이에요. 가만 보면 자유경쟁이니 자본주의니 말하는 애들이 결정적으로 극단적 폐쇄성이나 보호무역을 찾던데, 그… 현실은 빅토리아 게임이 아닙니다. 그런거 하면 상대국에서도 바로 보복조치가 날아옵니다. 왜 FTA를 하겠어요.
엔드-투-엔드(End-to-End) 물류망과 새벽배송/로켓배송은 그 자체로 거대한 자본과 투자가 필요한 진입장벽이에요. 신선식품 배송을 시작한다 해도, 쿠팡이 수년간 구축한 물류 시스템과 경쟁하기 위해서는 막대한 시간과 비용이 필요하며, 국내 규제 환경은 알리에게만 무조건적으로 유리하게 작동한다고 보기도 힘들죠. 알테쉰이 국내 물류망 구축에 덤벼든다? 그때부터 비슷한, 아니 더 강한 규제가 적용될테니까요. 그래서 신세계 신선식품-마트 물류망과 협업한다는 말이 나오는거에요. 그래서 경영의(병)신도 이건 말아처먹기 힘들거라 봐요.
두통 중에도 경제 이것저것 이런 식으로 미국 기업인 쿠팡을 박해하는 민주정부가 친중이라고 프레이밍하는데요. 딱 봐도 생성형 AI 딸깍 한 티가 나죠. 쟤들이 의도적으로 눙치는 정보가 있어요. 중국 직구가 한국에 들어올땐 한국 3PL(3rd Party Logistics)업체를 써야 한다는겁니다. 그 자체가 국내 유통업체 매출이 됩니다. 거기다 쿠팡의 새벽배송이 비판을 많이 받지만 일단 잠시 제쳐주도, 순수하게 곳곳에 들이부은 인프라와 시스템은 알/테/쉰이 하루아침에 할 수도 없고 3PL도 절대 못 따라해요. 심지어 네이버도요.
