No other changes this time, our current priority is to stabilize a mass of fixes and improvements we've made on top of Misskey 2025.5.0, which has been stalled due to life things getting in the way for several of our contributors. That said, the hope is to get things back in motion through the coming months- and contributions are always welcome. Thanks for bearing with us in the meantime!

I know enafore is a thing, but I don't like that one very much, due to it being browser-based and very limited in its features.

I've been giving lots of feedback to the @Bonfire@bonfire.cafe guys. They're taking things up SUPER fast. It's been absolutely incredible.
I recommend folks try out Bonfire, because it's honestly shaping up to be the one stop shop platform for social networking, consuming news, eventually handling calendar events, etc.
They just let me know about the new Git they just put up about Bonfire Widget suggestions. What would YOU want to see in Bonfire?

Instead of withdrawal, what if this is our GPL moment for AI—a chance to evolve copyleft to cover training? Tried to work through the idea here: Histomat of F/OSS: We should reclaim LLMs, not reject them.

Issues search now has inline filters. Web file editor was replaced with CodeMirror. CSRF protection is now stateless. Forgejo actions gained new features and better trust management. Foreign keys are now supported to ensure database consistency.

관점에 동의하고, 모델과 학습 데이터의 민주화를 어떻게 이룰 것인가에 대한 현실적인 부분을 좀 더 고민한다면 결국 국가나 국가들의 연합체이 주도하는 방향이 되지 않을까 싶다. 소프트웨어는 컴퓨터만 있으면 온전히 개인의 역량만으로 접근할 수 있지만 LLM은 특히 초대형 자본의 각축장이라 풀뿌리로 접근할 수 있는 길이 잘 보이지 않는 것 같다.
