I’m one of those people that are really obsessed with reducing my food waste, but I HATE that it’s becoming this moralized thing, you’re not superior for using some bougie app or not throwing away food ocassionally or whatever, your consumption probably doesn’t impact anything, it’s capitalist realism to think consumer preferences can save the universe (spoiler: you don’t matter in the slightest, industry sets the pace of universe destruction, no matter how cute the label is on whatever you’re eating or throwin away or whatever).
The actual reason to stop food waste is because it’s kinda expensive, and idk, makes you more creative or whatever. It really doesn’t make you a good person, you’re probably a bad person if you think that being good means just reducing your food waste.

MCP의 이름에서 알 수 있다시피 LLM에 컨텍스트를 추가하는 도구이고, 그걸 하나의 규약(프로토콜)로 정해둔 것임.
MCP 웹사이트 문서 첫 문장에 USB 커넥터 얘기 나오니까 다들 USB 커넥터로 설명하려고 하는데,
개인적으로는 데이터 관점에서 볼 때 RAG 패턴 구현을 엄청나게 쉽게 해주는 도구 정도로 이해하고 있음. 어쩌면 지금까지의 RAG 패턴 구현 패러다임이 MCP로 인해서 바뀔 수도 있음.
물론, MCP는 RAG 보다 훨씬 더 많은 영역을 커버할테고.

Thinking about Miyazaki and the way that his animation uses nostalgia. A good friend who grew up in South Korea surprised me when she said she couldn't stand "Ghibli Stuff" from her perspective it was laden with all of these very Japanese nostalgic touchstones, brands, technologies, tropes. In "A Tour of C++", Stroustrup reminds the reader that type casting is called "cast" so that you know it's a crutch, to hold something broken together.
With English not being my first language, I grew up discovering "casting" and thought of it as a magic trick as a young teen.
Over the years, I also discovered the use of "cast iron pans" and "orthopedic casts".
I never again thought about type casting; it was a term of art by then. But of course it's still a metaphor
