Travel to station
AVE tickets include free travel on local train lines to/from the AVE station. ICE has it, but not automatically for all tickets
Boarding
ICE - The platform is displayed well in advance, there're no luggage scans or ticket barriers. It's much faster, easier & accessible than AVE travel
Luggage
ICE trains have an adequate storage racks, AVE travel includes a luggage fight every time

Talking to friends in software orgs recently, I've been struck by commonalities across countries and sectors:
Executives are driving "efficiency," by which they mean maximizing time spent on direct value-creation activities.
BUT there's a tacit, industry-wide assumption that writing code is the only value-creating activity and that all coding generates value.
It's like everyone has prioritized instantaneous boat speed and abandoned navigation and maintenance.
Such a reckoning coming...

Normalisierung ist ein schleichendes Gift. Wer täglich immer nur ein wenig Veränderung mitbekommt, findet das viel eher erträglich, als wenn alles auf einen Schlag gekommen wäre. Ihr kennt das Bild vom Frosch im Wasser: Genau, die Leute sitzen da bereits in einer sehr braunen, heißen Brühe.
