이것은 인디언 헤드 테스트(Indian-head test pattern) 패턴의 사람 얼굴을 일본의 시시마이(獅子舞/사자놀음)에 등장하는 사자로 변경한 패턴입니다.

삼성 서비스 메뉴얼에서는 라이온 패턴(Lion pattern)이라고 부르며, 일본에서는 정확한 이름 없이 모노크롬 패턴 중 하나로 보고 있는 듯 합니다.

매티스 CISO는 범행 방법에 대해 “프라이빗 서명 키를 탈취한 공격자가 가짜 토큰을 만들어 다른 사용자인 것처럼 가장했다”면서 “쿠팡 내부의 프라이빗 서명 키를 취득한 것으로 보인다”고 했다. 이어 그는 “이 키를 인증해 세계적으로 사용하는 표준 절차인 JWT(JSON Web Token)를 이용한 가짜 토큰을 생성했다”고 설명했다."

I made a spreadsheet today to track my spools of 3D printer filament. It worked fine, but I also have a barcode scanner, as one does.

So I decided to vibe code a small TUI app with Python and Textual on a Raspberry Pi. My Zero was too slow to build a Rust dependency, so I switched to a spare RPi4 until I sort that out.

Now I can scan my filament boxes with a wireless scanner to add or remove them from inventory. It feels great to use in practice.

Day 1 of Advent of Compiler Optimisations!

Why do compilers love `xor eax, eax` for zeroing registers? It's brilliant: saves bytes compared to `mov eax, 0`, AND x86 CPUs recognise this "zeroing idiom" early in the pipeline—breaking register dependencies and removing it from execution entirely. Even better: writing to `eax` zeroes the top 32 bits of `rax` for free, handling 64-bit longs in one instruction.

this year my challenge for is to implement my own (statically typed) language and solve every task with it, adding features to the language as I go. basic implementation and first day are ready!

I kinda cheated by implementing System F typechecking a couple of days before the challenge starts, but this still means I had to implement parsing + ADTs and basic pattern matching + let-in + primitive types + builtins + typing for all that stuff + de Bruijn indexing + evaluation in the first day, which is the primary downside of this challenge. System F typing was mostly mechanical anyway, I was just following a paper (Complete and Easy Bidirectional Typechecking for Higher-Rank Polymorphism by Dunfield and Krishnaswami).

I spent last month preparing for this (reading TAPL and various papers, thinking about language design), so I’m pretty excited to actually attempt it.

리보솜에서 블루프린트 찍어서 소포체에 넘기면 만들고 골지체가 받아서 운반하면 밖으로 나가든가 리소좀에서 분해하든가 하는 루틴으로 대충 기억하면 되겠구나
